Indoors or outdoors, pool parties are exciting to have for birthdays or simply just for fun. However, you do have to make sure you have some tasty pool party treats near by for snacking on when you friends and love ones get hungry after all that swimming. If you are in need of some delicious, yet simple recipes to keep your guest happy and full, the ones below should help.

Buttery Crackers with Red Pepper Jelly and Cream Cheese Spread

Buttery crackers with a thin layer of creamy cheese spread over the top of them and drizzled with red pepper jelly provides a sweet and savory treat that provides protein and whole grains to fill the tummy up. They are simple to make, extremely affordable and keeps your guest coming back for more. All you have to do is put out a tray of buttery crackers, soft cream cheese spread and some red pepper jelly and allow your guest to make as many of these snacks as they want, or you can make the snack up ahead of time for easy grabbing and eating snacks that satisfy a hungry person immediately.

Fruit Kabobs

Fruit kabobs sprinkled with raw sugar are tasty sweet treats to have at any party where there is a lot of swimming going on. All you have to do is chunk up some fruits such as pineapples and melons and place them onto kabob sticks. You could even toss some whole strawberries and grapes onto the sticks as well. After, sprinkle the kabob sticks with some raw sugar for extra sweetness and serve them up for a quick and refreshing pool party treat.

Toothpick Snacks

Toothpick snacks sound funny, but you do not actually eat the toothpicks. The toothpicks are just useful for creating easy to handle snacks you can just pop into your mouth after swimming without having to touch the food. After all, hands are usually wet with chlorine water, which is bad to ingest. Therefore, all you have to do is use the toothpicks as small kabob sticks and place cheese chunks, small meat chunks such as ham, fruit pieces, or chunks of veggies onto them and place them onto a serving platter and serve them up. Oh, and don’t be afraid to use cake pieces, brownie chunks and cookie bites with those toothpicks either to create tasty sweet toothpick snacks for easy eating.
